For Happier Childhood 2015 – Campaign packed the City Square
For eight-time in a row, today, the municipal Red Cross Organization hosted the charity sports event “For Happier Childhood”, where young people from Ohrid had the opportunity to present their sports skills and abilities through multiple-discipline competitions and entertaining performances.
The event commenced with a race and continued with sports activities and entertaining performances taking place at the city square and its vicinity. On the event, young people from Ohrid took part by previously buying participation numbers at the cost of a symbolic 30 denars.
This year, too, will be recorded by the massive participation, but we are not surprised because we are supported by everyone each year. The message we want to send is to have an impact on the public awareness-raising at young children and teenagers – that sports are to have fun with, to stay healthy and be humane, because by buying a participation number they proved to be humane, helped other kids in need, and took part in the lottery game.
says Mimoza Stavreva from the municipal Red Cross Organization
A traditional partner of the activity “For Happier Childhood” is the “St. George” complex – Dental Centre D-r Batkoski, which this year, again, provided numerous prizes and surprises, as well as free useful advice and recommendations for care and protection of the oral health at youngsters and adults.
The lottery game will take place on 24th October at 6 PM on TVM. Among the 50 prizes available, there are a seven-day winter holiday at Zlatibor, a holiday in Kraguevac, and a weekend in Krushevo.
