Esthetic dentistry and dental tourism connect Ohrid and Dubai

It all started by accident, and maybe not.
Dr. Keenan Bonnie, an aesthetic dentist at the DR JOY Dental Clinic in Dubai, during a recent working visit to Ohrid, spotted the branded vehicle of the Dr. Batkoski Dental Center at a breakfast from the hotel where he was staying. The article “Dental Tourism Services” caught his attention. He opened the website of “Dr. Batkoski” written on the official vehicle on his mobile phone and everything started here.
When I looked at the website I realized how professional this clinic is. If it was a small clinic, I would not be very interested in visiting it. But something very interesting was happening here, dental tourism in Ohrid. I wrote on the Instagram page and someone came back to me, and then I received an invitation to visit the clinic. When I went there I was amazed by the way it was arranged and equipped. Very professional, and on the other hand you feel at home, which is a rarity in the clinics. I met Dr. Nebojsa Batkoski, a great man with a good heart. When you see him, you feel that you have known him for a long time. We have seen each other three times, and I have the impression that we have been friends for years. – says Dr. Keenan Bonnie.
Dr. Bonnie and Dr. Batkoski have a strong passion for their profession, so the conversation soon turned into a practical exchange of experiences.

He wanted to see my work, and I wanted his. We wore coats and that was the key moment. From here the conversation started to organize a course for aesthetic dentistry intended for dentists, but also for dental students, at a higher level, not at the elementary level, but everyone is welcome. Then we realized that we work with the same materials and the same techniques. – said Dr. Nebojsa Batkoski, owner of the Dental Center “Dr. Batkoski”.
The course for aesthetic dentistry in Ohrid is planned to be held in the fall. It is planned to last 7 days, with real patients, during which real dental problems will be solved from the beginning to the end, by applying top technique and equipment.

In Ohrid, we will realize one of the best courses in the region. The whole process will be video and photo-documented. The dentist will know what is happening, from A to Z, how to start and how to end. The course will be of the “over-the-shoulder” type, ie the doctor will work and the dentists will see it. – adds Dr. Keenan Bonnie.
The course in Ohrid will be preceded by a working visit of Dr. Nebojsa Batkoski to the clinic “DR JOY” in Dubai, where dental tourism is developed at the highest level that attracts exceptional guests who are interested in the esthetic correction of their smile.

Dr. Keenan Bonnie has three university degrees. His specialty is aesthetic dentistry, and his patients are celebrities and influencers from all over the world, with whom he collaborates on the promotion of social networks. The Instagram profile on which he promotes his work has over 31,000 followers, and on Facebook his work is followed by over 20,000 people.
I created an Instagram account and hired a professional photographer. The goal is for patients to see my site, see my work, and make an appointment. Dubai is a place where there are many locals, but also influencers from all over the world. Everyone lives there, actors, athletes, people from the fashion industry, models… I started contacting influencers with a large audience to promote my clinic on their profiles. In time, those people became my friends. They always come to me and share my work on social networks. That way I get more and more followers, which is good for the work I do. – points out Dr. Bonnie.
Dr. Keenan, a Syrian-born, has adored Dubai, where he has lived since 1996, when the city was far from the metropolis of what is now – one of the world’s most coveted and visited tourist destinations.
It was very interesting to see how Dubai in a short period of time became one of the best cities in the world. Imagine spending your childhood on the streets where there is nothing, to grow up and see the tallest tower in the world. Today, when you think of Dubai, you usually think of expensive Dubai. But it is not so. An American journalist made a very good video: “How to survive in Dubai with 200 euros a week.” Depending on what you want, you can stay in a very nice 5-star hotel for 50 euros per night or you can stay in a hotel for 1000 euros per night. It’s all a matter of choice, desire and opportunity, and Dubai is exactly that, a city of opportunity. – said Dr. Keenan Bonnie, a modern esthetic dentist, who will share his experiences and practices with Macedonian colleagues at a special course to be held at the Dental Center “Dr. Batkoski” in Ohrid, this fall.
